i have my suburban and a 12 foot enclosed trailer. i could throw some bike racks on top and we could use that as a support vehicle and there would be plenty of room for camping gear, a bbq, and anything else we may want and we could lock up the bikes in the trailer at night.
Me and Mike also briefly discussed mapping out little towns as destination points for each day. Maybe start out 30 miles a day and work up to 60 70 ish kind of a thing.
cory said he currently has a mtn. bike and is thinking of buying a road bike. if he does, i was thinking of borrowing his mtn. bike for the trip so i don't have to buy a nicer bike or worry about shipping one out. does that seem like something that would work? what's everyone else thinking about doing for bikes? what are our options?
I can probably provide at least 3, possibly 4 road bikes if anyone doesn't have one to ride. Ty, you'd definitely want some kind of road bike if possible. trying to keep up on a mountain bike if most other people are on road bikes could get pretty exhausting pretty quickly.
Thanks for the info. When it comes to biking, I'm clueless. Cory said that his brother has an extra road bike that we could borrow as well. Levi, we'll probably need any bikes you can offer.
i am in 100%
ReplyDeleteLet's ride. Wendy wants more kids, so I need to smash up my nuts real good. That will solve that. I'm in.

ReplyDeleteTyler, you definitely don't want to ride a mountain bike. You will die.
